#LoveHeals

No other power on earth has the sheer potency of genuine love...it can melt the hardest heart and the hardest head in a way that hardship, homelessness, suffering, pains, logic language or law can ever match.I strongly attest that love is the greatest and most valuable currency we can ever share.

UNDERSTANDING CHILDHOOD DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

Did you grow up living with Domestic Violence? or do you know someone who grew up living with domestic violence or are you just a loving soul who wants to help children growing up in domestic violence, if your answer is YES, then you're in the right program.

Our 6 weeks comprehensive Training and awareness program which begins February 24, 2018 will be focused on: Childhood Domestic Violence.

Do you know that children are exposed to or experience domestic violence in many ways? They may hear one parent/caregiver threaten the other, observe a parent who is out of control or reckless with anger, see one parent assault the other, or live with the aftermath of a violent assault.

Many children are affected by hearing threats to the safety of their caregiver, regardless of whether it results in physical injury. Children who live with domestic violence are also at increased risk to become direct victims of child abuse. In short, domestic violence poses a serious threat to children's emotional, psychological, and physical well-being, particularly if the violence is chronic.

We will be examining the various areas:

                  * Understanding Childhood Domestic Violence.

                  * What is Childhood Domestic Violence?

                  * I experience domestic Violence as a Child. Can I be healed from it?

                  * Laws and policy Implementation to combat childhood domestic Violence.

Community awareness, referral services, and counselling will also be a part of this program. For more inquiry email us: christinaewanga@gmail.com

What is domestic violence?

Domestic Violence Is…

Domestic violence can be defined as a pattern of behavior in any relationship that is used to gain or maintain power and control over an intimate partner. Abuse is physical, sexual, emotional, economic or psychological actions or threats of actions that influence another person. This includes any behaviors that frighten, intimidate, terrorize, manipulate, hurt, humiliate, blame, injure, or wound someone. Domestic violence can happen to anyone of any race, age, sexual orientation, economic class, immigration status, religion, or gender. It can happen to couples that are married, living together, or who are dating. Domestic violence affects people of all socioeconomic backgrounds and education levels.

Does the Person You Love:

  • Threaten to hurt you or other people you care about?
  • Hit, kick, punch, push, choke or use physical force against you?
  • Criticize or blame you for everything that goes wrong?
  • Humiliate you in front of other people?
  • Control your access to money?
  • Control the decision-making in your relationship?
  • Control your time and actions?
  • Put you down, call you names, make you feel like you’re crazy?
  • Destroy your property or abuse your pets?
  • Threaten to hurt you or commit suicide if you leave?
  • Force or coerce you to have sex when you don’t want to?
If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these questions, you may be in an abusive relationship.  You are not alone; many people just like you are dealing with violence at home.  You didn’t cause the violence and no one has the right to hurt you.  If you would like to talk with someone, free and confidential help is just a phone call away.

Childhood Domestic Violence: The Power Of Resilience.

Recently, I learned about the story of Elizebeth Keckly, a model of tenacity. She was born a slave in 1818 in Virginia and soon experienced a life of hardship and abuse. She was made to care for an infant when she was only 4 yrs old and was beaten constantly at age 5 when she tipped over the baby's cradle. She was sexually abused. And she was repeatedly told by her owners that she would never be..."worth her salt".
From an early age, she was painfully aware of the plight of those living in slavery " childhood domestic violence ".
Keckly, had a tough life, which she described as having gone to
" The Hardy School". She gave birth to a child after been raped repeatedly by a white man.
She was often required to do the work of three people. But she also was highly tenacious and made the most of her opportunities.
She learned to read and write. She developed skills as a seamstress, having learned beginning at 6 from her mother. And she developed a mind for business which she ultimately used to change her life.

Did you grow up experiencing childhood domestic violence like Elizebeth ? or do you know someone who grew up living with domestic violence or are you just a loving soul who wants to help children growing up in domestic violence, if your answer is YES, then you're in the right Training program. Our six weeks free training program which begin February 24, 2018, will empower you with the tools and strategies you need to walk pass your past, so can you can be able to fulfill your God given potentials.

You are our hope when the world is hopeless.

Lord Jesus, we love you. Lord, please help us to remember that life doesn't stop when things are tough. Life keeps right on going. But it's when we step out in faith and believe that we see huge answers to prayer. We need Your help to remember this! It's as we walk along in faith, living life for You, our King... that we are healed, refreshed, strengthened, renewed, and ready for more! Your hand of love never stops pouring in to our lives. You continue to be our steady rock in a not so steady world. You are our hope when the world is hopeless. You are our strength when all we feel is weak. You are our joy when life brings sorrow. You are our everything! In Jesus precious name we pray. Amen and Amen.

@Christina's Devotion & Motivation

He will be with you, they will not overcome you, you will not be harmed.

"When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you." Isaiah 43:2
I just feel really strongly in my spirit that some of you need to hear this word today. No matter who you are, or where you come from, or what decisions you make in life, you will face illness, pain, suffering, and loss. Embedded in the promise of this passage is the reality of suffering: when you go through deep waters, when you walk through the fire. God’s children(born-again believers) are not exempted from suffering, pain, and tragedy. However, when we as believers do face life’s difficulties, here is the promise for every child of God: He will be with you, they will not overcome you, you will not be harmed.
For this reason, you need not fear no matter what obstacle or heartache you may be facing. “Fear not,” God says, “because I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name, you are mine” (Isaiah 43:1). I am intimately acquainted with your situation and you belong to me, and I will take you through this. Though the way seems difficult, and at times impossible, you can be confident in this, "Nothing will be impossible with God" (Luke 1:37). If you are in Christ today, then you have been redeemed by God no difficulty will drown you, no trial will overwhelm you, no sorrow will destroy you.

@Christina's Devotion & Motivation

Don't allow anything to limit you from experiencing God’s best.

Beloved, God wants you to do more than settle in life. He wants you to believe for His best...what He’s promised you. He doesn’t want unbelief to limit you, as it did with the Israelites on their way to their Promised Land (Hebrews 3:19).
God wanted the Israelites to have a place they could call home...a place where they could rise to become a tremendous nation. The desert wasn’t His best, yet they camped there for forty years and didn’t experience God’s promise because they didn’t believe they could.

God wants more for you. He wants you to fulfill your dreams and not to settle for second best. Religious beliefs will try to limit you by making you feel small. They will try to make you feel guilty for wanting to do something great with your life, but this is because they don’t differentiate between greatness and selfishness.
You see, you can rise up to be the best in your field. You can make more income and have more influence in the world than you’ve dreamed possible. There’s nothing wrong with any of it...if your heart is right. It all depends on your motives...why you want what you want. If your dreams are purely self-serving, they will bring destruction to other areas of your life. But if you put God first and tie your dreams to His grand purpose for your life...to be a blessing and to bring others into His family...you can enjoy His best while making an incredible impact on this world for Him.
We all struggle with doubt at times, but don’t allow anything to limit you from experiencing God’s best.

 Have a blessed day!

He would give you rest.

Let me remind you of these truths as a believer that when you are tired, remember that Jesus said that He would give you rest.
When you are lonely, remember that Jesus said He would never leave you nor forsake you.
When you are destitute, remember that Jesus gave you everything He had.
When you are overwhelmed, remember that Jesus said to cast your cares upon Him.
When you are tempted, remember that Jesus understands and wants to help you resist the temptation.
When you are wandering, remember that Jesus is preparing a place for you.

Christina's Daily Devotion & Motivation: Forgiven by God

If your life is haunted by past sin, then you know how difficult it is to enjoy life to the fullest. Much of the depression that besieges our society comes from laboring under an enormous load of guilt. Once we confess our sin to God, He forgives us and restores our fellowship with Him.

To continue in unforgiveness is self-defeating....beloved please stop feeling bad....you're no longer the same old you...you've been blood washed and forgiven...God has wiped away the sin; He remembers it no more. (Jeremiah 31:34). We are the ones who resurrect the memory of forgiven sin. Therefore, we are the ones who suffer.

One of the best ways I have found to put an end to old thoughts is to write out a confession to God, sign it, and date it if possible. Then I go through the scriptures concerning God's forgiveness. Write out each verse completely along with your confession. Once you have completed the project, read what you have written and what God has to say about you and any sin.

Then across the page or paper in BIG, BOLD letters: "Forgiven by God," because of His Son's love and death at Calvary.

Any time the enemy tries bringing up old news, take out the piece of paper and say.....read what I wrote on my paper....

Beloved, God has forgiven you....Today! Walk pass that past...walk into your destiny and purpose..

Christina's Daily Devotion & Motivation: Am my walking on my lane?

At times, the way seems to be dark even when we have done all we can with the right motives, waiting patiently for God's response. If this is the case, consider that the Lord may be redirecting your life. The job you really wanted just never seems to materialize because God is orchestrating a career change for you that will place you around people who nurture your faith.
The Apostle Paul had tried to take his missionary team into parts of Asia Minor, but the Holy Spirit prevented him. (Act 16: 6-7) Why?
God had plans for Paul in Greece and ultimately Rome. And it appears that Peter was used by the Lord to Minister the gospel in Asia.
I like what sister Patty Pat said, " Seek the Holy Spirit. It's only through the Holy Spirit that you can understand God." and subsequently understand our purpose.
If Apostle Paul didn't yield to the leading of the Spirit, he would have been trespassing in someone's else lane. Are you walking in your lane?

If No,...it okay, you're not alone... seek the Holy Spirit to redirect you...He's Able...and He's always able to redirect our steps when we go astray.  Remember the steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord. Seek Him today He will lead you.
Today's Lesson:
1. Seek the Holy Spirit's leading.
2. Stay on your lane.
3. Surrender the wheel of your life to Him.

Question:
* Am my in the Will of God?
*Who is directing my life?
*Am my walking on my lane?
