The price was costly. . .

On His part He bought me, and on my part I presented myself to Him. By right of redemption I am God's property, but if I would be His slave I must willingly give myself to Him, for He will never compel me to do so.

"For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." - (1 Cor 6:20)

"You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men." - (1 Cor 7:23)

The trouble with us today is that we have an insufficient idea of what God is asking from us. How glibly we say: "Lord, I am willing for anything."

Do you know that God is asking of you your very life?
