"Give Me control of your life . ..I can give you the control you need."
No one wants to be thought of as being out-of-control. Yet those who struggle with anger will say, "I've really tried to control my anger, but for some reason, I just can't."
If that someone is you, it could be that the Lord is saying, " I know you can't but I can. I can give you the control you need. I will give My supernatural power. But first, give Me control of your life. Then I will change you inside out.
Only Jesus Christ can fill that void in our hearts...

What Should I do when I Feel Down? | Facing The Fire Within Series on CEN
Answer: "Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God" (Psalm 42:11)
There's answer in God's Word! David encouraged himself in the Lord, we too can do the same. Be encouraged in the Lord.
And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. (1 Samuel 30:6)

Control the flame before it consumes your life | Facing The Fire Within Series on CEN
-(Matt 5:21-22)
Murder is a crime, and terrible sin. Anger against someone is also a sin because it violates God's command to love.
Did you noticed that anger and murder are both subject to judgment...
Anger in this case refers to a seething, brooding bitterness against someone. It is a dangerous emotion that always threatens to leap out of control, leading to violence, emotional hurt, increase mental stress, and spiritual damage. Anger keeps us from developing a spirit pleasing to God.
Have you ever been proud that you didn't strike out and say what was really on your mind?
Did you know that what began as a smoldering ember in the heart of Moses quickly burst into deadly flames? Perhaps no one noticed the angry sparks flying from his eyes, but his spirit was consumed with the heat of anger. What do you do when you're inflamed with anger thoughts and feelings?
Firefighters know the danger of letting a flame get out of control. They are trained to respond quickly. You must respond quickly also in order to control the flame of anger before it consumes your life and destroys your relationships.
How true it is that:
" a quick-tempered man does foolish things"
(Proverbs 14:17)
As good as self-control is, Jesus wants us to practice thought-control as well. Jesus said that we will be held accountable even for our attitudes. Control the flame before it consumes your life!
Dearest, You are not alone. God is ever willing to help us in our weaknesses. Reach out to Him.
Let's pray. . .
Dear Lord, bring peace to my mind and my heart as I feel angry at the situation I am in. May I take hold of your promise that You will never leave me nor forsake me. In whatever circumstances I face that produces anger in my heart, remind me that you have not left my side and you never will. When you are with me I can trust you to fight my battles, I do not need to allow anger to take control. Give me Your peace Father, may it rule over my life. In Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

Q & A| "Is it a sin for me to be angry?"
Question: " Is it a sin for me to be angry?"
Answer: No. The initial feeling of anger can be a God-given emotion. It is the way you respond and express this emotion that determines whether or not you allow your anger to become sin.
It's no doubt that periodically, everyone feels the heat of anger, but how you handle the heat determines whether you are misusing it.
The Bible says, "Be angry and do not sin, do not let the sun go down on your anger..."
( Ephesians 4:26)
That being said, anger can be a secondary emotion, the primary underlying feeling driving it, can be the real issue. What am my angry about?
Based on biblical referencing, anger is not a sin. But when you're angry, it's always wise to act positively than reacting, because reacting, can lead to broken relationships, and sometimes legal consequences.
Amen.
Receive His peace.
God Bless You.

What are some of the Misconceptions About Anger?

Story-Time |Facing The Fire Within Series on CEN | I hope you can forgive me father for the holes I put in you.
There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.
The first day the boy had driven 37 nails
into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger,
the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it
was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.
Finally, the day came when the boy didn’t lose his
temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the
boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The
days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the
nails were gone.
The father took his son by the hand and
led him to the fence. He said, “You have done well, my son, but look at the
holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in
anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and
draw it out. It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, the wound is
still there.”
The little boy then understood how
powerful his words were. He looked up at his father and said, “I hope you
can forgive me father for the holes I put in you.”
“Of course, I
can,” said
the father.
I don't remember
where I got this story, but it rang true with me as I look back on my younger
days.
I think the lesson the young man in this
story learns is such an important one and is a lesson that unfortunately many
of us learn much later in life. When we are young, saying or doing mean
or hurtful things out of anger or frustration to the ones we love (or even
strangers for that matter) seems easily remedied. As children we are
confident that the adults and people in our lives are more than capable to
forgive and forget our offenses no matter what we would say or do. It’s
not until we reach adulthood that we realize the long-term damage our words and
actions can have on one another. Suddenly as adults we look back on our
own lives at the times when someone hurt us with their cruel words or actions
and although we were able to forgive them, there are some things we discover
were never able to truly forget.
The fact is there are some things that we
may say or do that ultimately can never be taken back no matter how many times
we apologize to the one’s we hurt. Unfortunately, we tend to realize the
level of irreversible damage we caused only in hindsight and even more, the
ones we tend to hurt the worst are the people we usually love the most.
As the saying goes, “To err is human, to forgive divine,” which is true, we are
human, we make mistakes, and sometimes we say or do things we don’t mean out of
anger in times of great frustration or sadness. Yet, every time we are in
a dispute with a friend, disagreement with a loved one, or even just having a
bad day, it’s so important to remember to pause and take a moment to think
about the possible permanent repercussions our actions and words could have on
others. It’s only natural that we will have times in the future where we
will lose our tempers or be pushed to personal our limits. However, when
we find ourselves in those times of great frustration or anger, we must be sure
that whatever we say or do in those moments won’t, like the nails hammered in
the fence, end up leaving permanent holes in the one’s we love and in
relationships important to us that we will never be able never undo.

Facing The Fire Within Series on CEN | What Have You Left Behind?
It was a hot, humid day in the middle of Kansas City. The eight-hour shift seemed especially long for the veteran bus driver. Suddenly, a young woman, apparently upset about something, let loose with a string of unforgettable, not to mention, unrepeatable words.
She quickly turned and snapped, “Oh,
and what is that?”
“A very bad impression,” the bus
driver responded.

Upcoming Series: Facing The Fire Within - ANGER Series.
The day begins like any other day, but ends like no other -for on this day, he gives full vent to his anger -and, as a result, finds himself running for his life.
He is a part of a mistreated minority - grievously persecuted, not for doing something wrong, but for being perceived as a threat. Raised with privilege in the palace of a king, he had been spared the heartless treatment inflicted on his kinsmen. But watching the injustice day after day and year after year finally becomes too much for him to bear.
When he sees one of his own people suffering an inhuman beating at the hands of an Egyptian, Moses is filled with rage. He snaps. In an instant he kills the Egyptian and hides the body in the sand. But his angry, impetuous act is not committed in secret. When news of the murder reaches Pharaoh, Moses fears for his life and flees ( Exodus Chapter 2)
When you look at the life of Moses, you can see both the power and the potential problems inherent in anger.
Has anger ever clouded your judgement to the point that you acted rashly, and later regretted it?
Ultimately, you have the choice to act wisely or to react foolishly. In his lifetime, you can learn how to act rather than react! In doing so, you will demonstrate wisdom.
"A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control" (Proverbs 29:11)
Stay tuned for our up coming series on ANGER: Facing The Fire Within on CEN. This will be a very impactful series. We will be learning from expert biblical counsellors, psychologists, Victim Advocates, Parents - on how to deal with anger in Children and Adults.

How awesome is our God.
He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
(Hebrews 1:3)
May we always be possessed by the consciousness that we are not our own.
I am the Lord's, and now no longer reckon myself to be my own but acknowledge in everything His ownership and authority. This is the attitude God delights in, and to maintain it is true consecration.
I consecrate myself to God to do His will where I am, be it in school, office or kitchen or wherever he may, in His wisdom, send me. Wherever He ordains for me is sure to be the very best, for nothing but good can come to those who are wholly His.
May we always be possessed by the consciousness that we are not our own.

Pessimist v. Optimist: Who are you?
According to Oxford Dictionary, a pessimist is a person who tends to see the worst aspect of things or believe that the worst will happen.
I love what Job 14:7-12 says,“For there is hope for a tree,When it is cut down, that it will sprout again,And its shoots will not fail.“Though its roots grow old in the groundAnd its stump dies in the dry soil,At the scent of water it will flourishAnd put forth sprigs like a plant.
No matter what you're facing at this moment, be hopeful. There's always light at the end of a tunnel. Sometimes only a change of viewpoint is needed to convert a troublesome situation into an interesting opportunity. For there is hope for a tree, when it is cut down, that it will sprout again! Remain Optimistic.
Hope this message inspires you to define yourself in a positive light!
Choose to be optimistic in Faith!

God Bless you.

There's always success at the end of failure. . .
Lord, are you trying to tell me something?
For . . .
Failure does not meant I'm a failure;
It does mean I have not yet succeeded.
Failure does not mean I have accomplished nothing;
It does mean I have learned something.
Failure does not mean I have been a fool;
It does mean I had enough faith to experiment.
Failure does not mean I've been disgraced.
It does mean I dared to try.
Failure does not mean I don't have it;
It does mean I have to do something in a different way.
Failure does not mean I am inferior;
It does means I am not perfect.
Failure does not mean I 've wasted my time.
It does means mean I have an excuse to start over.
Failure does not mean I should give up;
It does mean I must try harder and smarter.
Failure does not mean I will never make it;
It does mean I need more patience.
Failure does not mean You have me;
It does mean You must have a better plan and idea, In Jesus Name, Amen.
***
Stop blaming yourself.
Stop blaming others.
Take it to God in prayers.
He is able.
There's always success at the end of failure. . .

Feminine Health on CEN |5 Foods That Will Keep Your Vagina Healthy | -HB Team
OBGYN and Professor at Yale University School of Medicine, Dr. Mary Jane Minkin explains that unhealthy vaginas are “Usually a result of an imbalance of good bacteria and bad bacteria in the vagina.” A healthy vagina has a large quantity of a type of “good bacteria” named lactobacilli, a probiotic strain that protects your vagina from damaging bacteria. There are foods that contain a type of Lacto-bacteria and therefore, are seriously beneficial when incorporated into your diet.
Another factor that needs to be considered is your vaginal pH level. To help your body fend off harmful bacteria, fungus, and other pathogens, your vagina must maintain a low pH level; anywhere between 3.8 and 4.5, which is quite acidic. Adding acidic foods into your diet like citrus fruits can, therefore, allow you to maintain an optimum pH level.
OBGYN and Co-Founder of VENeffect Anti-Aging Skin Care Rebecca Booth, advises to “Keep your vagina healthy and balanced with a diet loaded with organic plant protein, organic fermented foods (such as kefir, yogurt, kimchi, and sauerkraut) as well as prebiotic foods that support a healthy vaginal flora (such as leeks, lentils, radishes, and quinoa).”
1. Probiotic-rich foods: Probiotic supplements are famous for supplying your body with healthy bacteria; however, you can also add them to your diet. Greek yogurt is a rich source of probiotics as it contains Lactobacillus. According to a study published in the Archives of Gynecology and Obstetrics journal, Lactobacillus helps maintain urogenital health and plays a vital role in preventing bacterial vaginosis, yeast vaginitis, and UTIs. Lactobacillus and Streptococcus (another good bacteria) are used to make cheese and sour cream.2. Fermented vegetables: Fermented vegetables like sauerkraut and kimchi also contain lactobacilli, which help fight off bad bacteria in the vagina. Opt for non-pasteurized vegetables, as pasteurization can kill the good bacteria.
3. Vitamin C-rich food: Vitamin C-rich foods like citrus fruits, cranberries, and other berries, help fight free radicals in the body while simultaneously removing toxins. More specifically, lemon supports a healthy vagina as its acidity helps maintain the vagina’s natural pH levels.
4. Plant-based foods: Plant-based foods like avocados, nuts, chia seeds, and olive oil help promote a healthy hormone balance, as well as regulate your body’s pH levels, keeping your vagina balanced. Avocados score extra points as they contain fats, which support strong vaginal walls to boost lubrication. Eating just 1/4 avocado is enough to reap the benefits, so try adding a 1/4 into your morning smoothie. Sweet potato is another great addition, as it’s believed to strengthen and protect uterine walls, while its high dosage of vitamin A and beta carotene have been proven to enhance fertility levels.
5. Omega-rich foods: Foods rich in omega 3 won’t just up your glow game but they’ll also
boost your vaginal health. This includes foods like walnuts, salmon, sardines, chia seeds, and flaxseeds. Firstly, they help increase circulation and blood flow, which can stimulate your sex drive, but they’re also believed to control odor.
