Q & A| "Is it a sin for me to be angry?"

Question: " Is it a sin for me to be angry?"

Answer: No. The initial feeling of anger can be a God-given emotion. It is the way you respond and express this emotion that determines whether or not you allow your anger to become sin.

It's no doubt that periodically, everyone feels the heat of anger, but how you handle the heat determines whether you are misusing it.

The Bible says, "Be angry and do not sin,  do not let the sun go down on your anger..."

                  ( Ephesians 4:26)

That being said, anger can be a secondary emotion, the primary underlying feeling driving it, can be the real issue. What am my angry about?

Based on biblical referencing, anger is not a sin. But when you're angry, it's always wise to act positively than  reacting, because reacting, can lead to broken relationships, and sometimes legal consequences.

God is ever willing to help us in our weaknesses. Reach out to Him.

Let's pray. . .

Dear Lord, bring peace to my mind and my heart as I feel angry at the situation I am in. May I take hold of your promise that You will never leave me nor forsake me. In whatever circumstances I face that produces anger in my heart, remind me that you have not left my side and you never will. When you are with me I can trust you to fight my battles, I do not need to allow anger to take control. Give me Your peace Father, may it rule over my life. In Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

Receive His peace.

God Bless You.

Your sister in Christ.
