My Testimony: My Spiritual Journey in Christ.

I remember when I became born again. I also remember the times when I sinned and felt condemned. I developed a sin conciousness that told me I was just a sinner saved by Grace.Even preachers would say that as a Christian, I was nothing but a sinner.
I believed them. At that time, I did not expect God to show up in my prayer time. I felt that either I was not worthy or that God was too busy to answer a sinner like me.
Each time I would pray, I would repent of my sins and kept repeating the same confession each time I go before God. I did this out of habit because I was trained to be sin conscious. I became stagnant, and had so much confidence in my old sins...nothing was working in my spiritual life. I wanted more of God but I was short off. I spent several hours in the Word and went to Church and Bible studies...but nothing changed.
I was desperate...I was hungry...I needed God but God was so far from me..not because God wanted to be far from me, but because I had a wrong mindset. I was a Christian but felt completely empty. I was like an empty basin under the rain.... Worst still, I considered myself as unworthy... unworthy to stand before His presence, unrighteous, a sinner.... those were my daily confessions...but one day....I came across these scriptures (Romans 3, 2Corinthians 2)..that was the day my paridym shifted and since then, things have changed and I'm growing daily in His grace and love.

Lesson:
(Romans 3: 20-26)
Righteousness = Justification and we're justified by Faith.
The word justified means : Declared righteous.
So when we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Don't let your past, your sins hold you down....Jesus paid the price for your justification. Jesus loves you for who you are and He's always ready to mold, shape and transform your life to His image and likeness.
Jesus doesn't condemn! the Bible says there's therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.
As the Holy Spirit is ministering to you right now.... surrender your life to Jesus...repent of your sins and follow Him....
* I want us to know that the battle is not won just because we have received a new nature. Our flesh still wants to return to some of the same sinful things we did prior to our acceptance of Christ. We have to renew our minds to the reality that we are no longer the same person we used to be. We have a new nature. We are now by nature the righteousness of God.
My new identity is: " I am the righteousness of God in Christ."
Jesus loves you.
May the Lord bless you and cause His Light to shine upon You and give you peace.
Much Love.

You can walk calmly and joyfully as you allow His Spirit to fill you and guide you through this day.

Good morning all!!
Welcome to Christina's Daily Devotion & Motivation.
What’s on your mind this morning? We all have things that crowd into our thoughts as we start each day. Sometimes it’s things we are happy about and other times it’s hard things or challenges to solve.
It can be easy to feel a little, or a lot, overwhelmed. Yet God has already promised us the help you need. His divine power is ready to go to work on your behalf. Invite Him into your circumstance right now. Name it specifically to Him.
Choose to get to know Him better. Step into some inspiring worship music or take time to focus on a Bible verse He has given you in the past.
All you need for life, and to live godly in the midst of it is available through God’s divine power. Let these words settle over your heart and bring you the peace you need. You can walk calmly and joyfully as you allow His Spirit to fill you and guide you through this day.
“God’s divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.” 2 Peter 1:3

I am lifting up those who are going through a storm. God Is Able.

Lord Jesus, we love you. I am lifting up those who are going through a storm in life that is making them weary. They want to believe that you will show up in time to help them but the enemy has been filling their minds with lies. I pray that you will give them your peace that passes understanding and open their hearts to know that you are with them right now. They don’t have to see you or feel you to know that you are there. Show them that their prayers are heard by you and you will resolve the issues they face. Let them know that you will never leave them to fight against the battles of this world alone. I pray that they will listen for that small whisper of hope that you are ready to give them. Lord Jesus, I believe your promises never fail. In Jesus Mighty Name
Amen
